We are delighted to be working with this Outstanding Primary school based in Cambridge (CB1). As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the learning, development, and well-being of children in an Early Years setting based in Cambridge. Working closely with teachers and other staff, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the teacher in delivering engaging and creative activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Assisting with the social and emotional development of children, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Helping to set up and maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom space.
- Observing and recording children's progress, contributing to assessments and planning.
- Supporting children with additional needs, where required.
- Engaging with parents and carers to build strong, supportive relationships.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
