Are you passionate about helping young people succeed? We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a GOOD rated Ofsted school in Coventry. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in the classroom and develop your career in education.
The Role
- Supporting learning in class and helping students access lesson materials
- Providing 1:1 and small group support, including for students with additional needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
- Assisting students with SEN by adapting resources and classroom activities
- Helping develop and implement personalised learning plans
- Supporting the emotional, social and academic progress of students
- Carrying out general classroom and administrative tasks as needed
About You
- Experienced working with young people (school experience ideal but not essential)
- Patient, supportive and able to build strong relationships with students
- Confident communicating with staff, pupils and parents
- Proactive, flexible and able to work well as part of a team
- Passionate about education and helping students overcome barriers to learning
