The Role
We are currently seeking a creative and committed Art & Design Technology Teacher for a long-term position at a secondary school in Peterborough. This role is available immediately and will run through to December 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 through engaging and practical lessons in both Art and Design Technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Art and Design Technology
- Foster creativity, innovation, and practical skills in students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback
- Maintain a safe, organised, and engaging classroom/workshop environment

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Art and/or Design Technology at secondary level
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for creative subjects and student engagement
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
