TEACHING ASSISTANT – RUSHDEN
Full Time | Primary School
I C Talent are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Rushden area for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and committed individual who enjoys working with children and is passionate about supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team, providing support to pupils both within the classroom and, where required, on a one-to-one or small-group basis. You will play an important role in creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school or educational setting
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- A patient, caring and nurturing approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- The confidence to support children with a range of learning needs
- The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a busy school team
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A DBS registered on the Update Service – essential
The role will involve:
- Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons
- Working with individuals and small groups of pupils to support their learning
- Helping pupils remain focused and engaged in their work
- Providing pastoral and emotional support where required
- Supporting the overall day-to-day running of the classroom
- Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
