We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a school in the Peterborough area, starting as soon as possible and continuing until Christmas.
Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons.
- Teach mathematical concepts in a clear and accessible way.
- Support students with different abilities and learning needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Prepare lesson materials and follow the school curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.
Requirements:
- QTS or relevant teaching qualifications, depending on the school's requirements.
- Experience teaching Maths in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A patient, positive and enthusiastic approach.
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to complete the required checks.
- Right to work in the UK.
