We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term opportunities within schools across the Northampton area.
We are looking for caring, patient and reliable individuals who are committed to making a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with special educational needs in the classroom.
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required.
- Helping pupils with their learning, development and social skills.
- Supporting positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Working closely with teachers and other school staff to meet pupils’ individual needs.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- Is patient, understanding, compassionate and enthusiastic.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is reliable, flexible and committed to a long-term role.
- Must have a current DBS registered on the Update Service.
