We make our drivers working days as easy as possible, by getting them permanent routes, and ultimately giving our drivers with a less stressful working week! LOOKING FOR DRIVERS TO START JANUARY 2025 Responsibilities / Duties : * Locate parcels for your route in the warehouse,scan your parcels and load your vehicle * Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries * Ensure all parcels are properly secured during transportation * Safetly and efficiently drive a courier vehicle to deliver parcels to correct locations * Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary compliance for proof of delivery * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving your vehicle Skills : * Previous experience for driving a van * Ability to drive a manual vehicle * Strong attention to detail and time management skills * Excellent communication and customer service skills Work environment includes : * On the job training – 1 week * Flexible working days ( 5 out of 7 required- Tuesday- Saturday available) * Depot / Warehouse environment to load parcels 8am-10am (approx) * Driving a van 10am-5pm (approx) Requirements from applicants : To work for DPD you must have: * A full UK driving licence for a minimum of 24 months * You must be 25 years of age and above * Provide proof of National Insurance * Have a valid clean DBS certificate * Have a right to work in the UK We now use hire vans and provide the details of the company we use upon your start date
