We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Counter Sales Assistant to join our team.
The main part of this role will be working on our busy trade counter, serving customers and helping with the day-to-day running of the business. There will also be occasional local deliveries and collections when required.

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Counter Sales Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the friendly face at our counter, assisting customers with their purchases, providing product knowledge, and ensuring a smooth sales process. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help drive sales growth while creating a positive shopping experience for all clients.
Responsibilities
- Serving customers on the trade counter and providing a friendly, helpful service
- Taking customer orders in person and over the telephone
- Advising customers on products where appropriate
- Processing sales and taking payments
- Preparing customer orders for collection or delivery
- Booking goods in and putting stock away
- Picking and packing orders accurately
- Keeping the trade counter, warehouse and stock areas clean and organised
- Checking stock levels and assisting with stock control
- Assisting customers with product enquiries
- Carrying out occasional local deliveries and collections when required
- Loading and unloading goods safely
- Assisting the wider team with general day-to-day duties
Up to £12.71 per hour (depending on age)
