The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
As a Band 6, you'll play a key role in supporting our Band 7 Sisters with the day-to-day operational management of the theatre suites, ensuring the delivery of high standards of patient care and smooth, efficient service provision. You'll be part of a dynamic and motivated team in a friendly, supportive learning environment, where learning and development are championed by our dedicated Practice Development Team. - Support the departmental lead(s) in maintaining an efficient and effective service delivering safe patient care within an environment that promotes a responsive approach to changing health care needs.
- Provide supervisory management and leadership skills and be motivated towards self-development in both management and leadership studies.
- Support and work in conjunction with the Team Managers to ensure the effective delivery of high standards of nursing care.
- Lead on a day-to-day basis the running of specialist clinical area/department, and when allocated act as the daily coordinator for the theatre, providing supervisory management and leadership skills in an environment which is complex and pressurised.
- Work as a skilled emergency Practitioner, working autonomously to support other colleagues to co-ordinate the clinical areas and to provide specialised knowledge ensuring the maintenance and development of a skilled nursing/Practitioner workforce.
- Participate in overnight on calls, on Agenda for Change terms.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
