Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Prince Philip Hospital for a rotational Specialist Clinical Pharmacist with drive and ability to become part of the dynamic Pharmacy Team. You will work in a supportive environment with training opportunities, to build on your foundation skills and develop your expertise. Prince Philip Hospital is a District General Hospital with around 250 beds, located in the town of Llanelli just off the M4 within easy reach of Swansea, the Gower and West Wales. It provides a range of medical specialties including coronary care unit, intensive care unit, acute stroke unit, palliative care, orthopaedics, general surgery as well as busy admissions and medical unit, minor injuries unit and same day emergency care. Professional development is of utmost importance and support and training will be provided. We are a patient-centred and progressive team who work closely with the multidisciplinary teams enhancing patient safety through professional advice to prescribers, discharge planning and attending consultant ward rounds. The innovative and friendly pharmacy team is well established within the health board. We are both ambitious and motivated, focusing our work around the best interests of our patients and continuously striving to improve the services we offer.
