The post holder will contribute to the delivery of safe and effective medical care within General Medicine. The role is under the supervision of the Consultant Physician and Hospital Director within General Medicine.
Core Responsibilities
- Clinical assessment, accurate documentation, and timely completion of discharge summaries.
- Participation in teaching Resident Medical Staff and undergraduate students.
- Engagement in regular audit and quality improvement activity.
- Participation in the medical on‑call rota.

Clinical Duties
- Participation in Gastroenterology ward rounds.

- Leading or contributing to quality improvement projects and clinical audits.
- Supporting and delivering teaching sessions, including ECG workshops.
