We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated individual who is hardworking, forward-thinking and innovative in their approach. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and support staff effectively while maintaining high standards of service delivery. The post holder will be required to work Monday to Friday between 3:00pm and 7:00pm. Flexibility to meet the needs of the service is essential. While applicants will not be required to work additional hours on a regular basis, the ability and willingness to provide occasional cover for annual leave, sickness absence, and periods of increased service demand would be advantageous. Main duties of the job:
You will be responsible for ensuring that Domestic Services staff provide a high-quality, comprehensive cleaning and meal service across wards and departments. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operational management of the team, with a particular focus on evening service delivery. As part of this role, you will be expected to provide support and supervision to the evening domestic teams based at Tenby Cottage Hospital and Pembroke Dock Health Centre. Therefore, the ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; however, applications are equally welcomed from both Welsh and English speakers.

We have over 13,000 staff and together we provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services. We work in partnership with the three local authorities, as well as public, private and third sector colleagues, including our valued team of volunteers.

- Four main hospitals: Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth; Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen; Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli; and Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest
- Five community hospitals: Amman Valley and Llandovery hospitals in Carmarthenshire; Tregaron Hospital in Ceredigion; and Tenby and South Pembrokeshire hospitals in Pembrokeshire
- Two integrated care centres: Aberaeron and Cardigan in Cerdigion, and several other community settings
- 47 general practices (six of which are health board managed practices); dental practices (including four orthodontic); 99 community pharmacies; 43 general ophthalmic practices; and 8 ophthalmic domiciliary providers
