Job Overview
We are looking for a conscientious, hard-working, caring individuals to join our team as a Senior Radiology Clinical Support Worker within the Radiology Department at Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli.
Working time varies between 8am-5.15pm and 8.45am-5pm (on a rota). Weekend working on a rota.
Both full-time and part-time hours can be considered for this post (a minimum of 22.5 hours if offered part-time).
Interviews will be held on 08/09/2026.
Main duties of the job
It is essential that you enjoy working with people and have great communication skills.
You must have patience and be methodical, work well in a team but have the ability to take initiative and work individually.
- Assisting the Radiographers working in the clinical area.
- To perform clerical and administration duties.
- To welcome patients and escort them to changing rooms.
- To assist patients to prepare for imaging procedures.
- Supporting the radiographers and patients during and after imaging procedures.
- IV Cannulation of patients after training.
- Cleaning and general hygiene tasks in the department.
- Stocktaking and ordering of designated consumable
Previous hospital experience would be desirable.
