You'll support access to a wide range of resources, handling loans, returns, renewals and inter-library requests, while making sure everything follows copyright guidelines.
Part of your role will involve maintaining accurate borrower records, registering new members, and keeping the library space tidy, welcoming and well-stocked. You'll assist users by photocopying, scanning and supplying documents, and offer one-to-one support to help staff find and use evidence-based information.
You'll also play a key part in promoting resources through inductions, displays and activities, while building positive relationships with colleagues and partner libraries across Wales and the wider UK. Alongside this, you'll help keep equipment in good working order, manage supplies, collect usage data and feedback, and support basic information searches and IT queries.
Working within Library & Knowledge Services policies, you'll contribute ideas to continually improve the quality and accessibility of the service.
