If the answer is yes, please contact us, as we can offer excellent working conditions as a Hotel Services Assistant working in Withybush General Hospital. We are currently seeking to recruit confident and committed individuals to join our team and be responsible for a high standard of cleaning and housekeeping services.

We have a variety of posts which cover working hours between 07:30 and 15:30 or a rota of lates and earlies working 07:30-13:00 / 15:30-21:00. Some of these posts are full-time - 37.5 hours, and others are part-time - 30 hours, 27.5 hours, 12 hours, 22 hours, 24 hours.

The successful candidates will play an active role within the support team; the main duties of the posts will include general cleaning of ward/departmental areas of the hospital, and delivering a food service to the patients. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job:
  • Hotel Services Assistants are responsible for achieving and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout all clinical and non-clinical environments.
  • Providing a food and beverage service to inpatients.
  • General cleaning of the ward and departments.
  • Preparing and serving patient food and beverages 3 times a day.
  • Responding to requests for unscheduled cleaning.
  • Working as a team alongside clinical staff to ensure our patients receive the best care possible.
