We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Phlebotomists to work on the Phlebotomy Bank within the Pathology Department at Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest.

Main duties of the job:

  • The successful candidate will be required to be flexible to the needs of the service and to undertake a wide range of duties appropriate to the section but will mainly be involved with the collection of blood samples by venepuncture for analysis from the Wards.
  • Training will be provided on commencement for aspects specific to the department.
  • The post holder will assist in the provision of an efficient, caring and smooth running Phlebotomy service and will work as part of a team to provide a blood sample collection service to wards and other locations when deemed necessary.
  • The work requires a flexible approach to hours of employment.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
