Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care across General Surgery, with a focus on Upper GI and laparoscopic surgery.
Participate in the emergency general surgery on-call rota (1:8).
Undertake elective procedures at Withybush General Hospital, including within a JAG-accredited endoscopy service.
Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior medical staff.
Contribute to a multidisciplinary team environment, supporting service development and innovation.
Support delivery of RTT and Standard Cancer Pathway (SCP) targets.
Engage in teaching, training and educational supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate learners.
Participate in clinical audit, governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Work collaboratively with primary care and community teams to enhance patient pathways.
Maintain continuing professional development and revalidation requirements.

We are seeking a motivated, dynamic consultant who enjoys working in a supportive rural district general hospital setting, delivering high-quality care across a broad range of general surgical conditions. There is one permanent post available, offered under the Consultant Contract (Wales) with an optional 10-session (37.5 hours) working week.
