A valuable opportunity is available for an experienced Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join a supportive and well-established team. This is a permanent post, based at Glangwili General Hospital, in Carmarthen and travel to other sites for clinical duties is expected. The role combines strong professional development with an appealing quality of life. - Supervision of all admissions to the Wards
- Clinical investigation, diagnosis and treatment of all patients admitted to Obstetrics & Gynaecology Wards
- Assisting the Consultants in running the Outpatient Clinics
- Participation in regular audit meetings and postgraduate teaching sessions held by the appropriate Consultants
- Working in close cooperation and liaison with colleagues both within and outside of the organisation
- Maintaining a high standard of note-keeping
- Communication with other staff
- Presentations at weekly and clinical case conferences
- Carrying out audits and involvement in teaching junior staff and other professionals
