We currently have a vacancy for a Soft Facilities Training Supervisor at Glangwili Hospital. The post holder will be responsible on a day-to-day basis for ensuring a high standard of Cleaning/Housekeeping Services, in accordance with Soft Facilities Work Specifications, Performance Standards and Operational Policies and to act on behalf of the Assistant Operations Manager as necessary.
Other daily duties will include monitoring sickness, allocating annual leave and dealing with disciplinary issues. The successful candidate will need to support the introduction and implementation of new equipment & materials. Developing and training new starters within the cleaning methodology, offering advice and support to staff as necessary and being responsible for the correction of staff performance.

Main duties of the job:

- A relevant qualification, such as specialist knowledge of cleaning processes gained through a relevant level qualification or equivalent relevant experience, would be an advantage.
- The successful candidates will be required to work between the hours of 07:30 am and 21:00 pm and the ability to work flexibly as required will be essential.
- The post holder will need to be flexible to work wherever the demand is within the Hotel Facilities Department.
