Junior Sister (Cadog Ward & Frailty Assessment Unit)

About the Role

Main Duties

As a Junior Sister, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality care to our patients within Cadog Ward and the Frailty Assessment Unit. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. You will provide clinical leadership and support to junior staff members, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care. You will assist in the coordination of patient admissions, discharges, and transfers within Cadog ward and the Frailty Assessment Unit. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that promote optimal patient outcomes. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and professional standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience in a frailty setting preferable but not essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support junior staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to providing patient‑centred care and promoting dignity and respect.
