We are seeking to recruit a Senior Occupational Health Nurse advisor to join our team. This role will lead on all aspects of the service, providing a comprehensive Occupational Health Service to our staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage and provide professional leadership for the planning and delivery of an effective high‑quality Occupational Health Service.
- Provide professional leadership for all Occupational Health nursing staff and the wider multi‑disciplinary team.
- Provide Occupational Health clinical leadership, ensuring evidence‑based, high‑quality care is consistently delivered to staff.
- Contribute to strategic Occupational Health work, including attendance at key meetings as required.
- Lead professional development, mentorship for new staff and students.
- Demonstrate considerable initiative, work autonomously and establish effective relationships within the team and with service users, partners and stakeholders.
- Lead departmental Occupational Health leadership, manage day‑to‑day line and service management.
- Manage the clinical area and resources, identify and flag risk.
- Lead on project work as required.
- Carry a complex caseload as required.
- Monitor standards and compliance within the clinical Occupational Health Service.
Qualifications
- Highly competent and confident, with excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
- Proficient IT skills, flexible proactive approach to managing a varied and sometimes demanding workload.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Welsh language desirable; English and Welsh speakers welcome.
