Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking to recruit a Project Manager - Business Support within the Public Health Directorate on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will project manage various projects within the Directorate but will be a key member of the 24/7 project.
Applicants should as a minimum be educated to post graduate degree level or equivalent experience and have project management experience. Interviews will be held in person at Hafren Derwen, St. David's Park, Carmarthen and the successful candidate will be expected to work from the office once a week or as required.
Main duties of the job
This role will provide project management delivery within distinct projects for the Public Health Directorate project leads. Successful candidates should have a proactive approach to solving problems. They should also have effective communication skills and be able to build good working relationships. Proven experience at managerial level and experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team is also essential. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Person Specification
- Degree level qualification in related field or relevant experience
- Silver IQT/CIP or equivalent improvement methodology qualification or equivalent relevant experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development equivalent to Post Grad diploma level
- Knowledge of current NHS performance and service improvement initiatives and targets
- Understanding of model for improvement, process redesign and change management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages in particular MS Planner / Project, MS Teams, Sharepoint
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
