An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Perinatal Nurse to cover Pembrokeshire and be part of the Perinatal Team based at Ty Myddfai in Carmarthen. This post offers an excellent opportunity to work in an interesting and developing service environment. You will have considerable opportunities for training and professional development in an innovative, preventative service fully integrating Perinatal Service provision within routine antenatal services.
Main duties of the job:
- Recruit an experienced Perinatal Mental Health Nurse with experience in child, adult or maternal mental health.
- Join a passionate, dynamic and creative team focused on ensuring a more secure start in life for all children and building resilience.
- Assess care needs, develop programmes of care, implement and evaluate these programmes and undertake interventions.
- Work independently without direct supervision, maintaining effective communication skills and developing positive working relationships with health professionals, statutory and voluntary agencies.
Language and Interview Details:
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. Interviews will be held on 28/05/2026.
