Applications are invited for the post of Electrical Team Leader within the Estates Operational Maintenance team based at Glangwili Hospital. The post holder will support the site operational management staff with day‑to‑day Electrical operational Engineering maintenance. Tasks include autoclaves, washer disinfectors, fire alarm systems, nurse call systems, PAT testing, etc., and the post holder will be expected to undertake essential on‑call duties as part of the on‑call team.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Electrical plant and equipment is maintained to an appropriate standard to support clinical service departments in their prime task of treating patients.
  • The post‑holder is an integral part of a strong site‑based locality team structure.
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are fulfilled.
  • Performs work including activities that are complex and/or non‑routine.
  • Responsible for calibration and fault‑finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment.
  • Installation of new equipment and new electrical services.
