Are you an Early Intervention for Psychosis Practitioner? We have an exciting Post available within Hywel Dda UHB Early intervention in Psychosis team.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our established service in the management and support of individuals experiencing First episode in Psychosis or are determined as being in at risk mental state.

There may be an opportunity to work from home for some of your working hours. This can be discussed further at interview.

We are looking for experienced mental health qualified staff to become EIP Practitioners/ Care Co‑ordinators.

Key Responsibilities

There is a need to work flexibly, in varying locations to meet the needs of the service and work with other clinicians in the continued development of clinical assessment and intervention skills through training, supervision, co‑working and consultation with other child and family service providers.

Will work within the multi-disciplinary Early Intervention & Prevention Team as a Community Early Intervention Prevention (EIP) practitioner providing targeted and specific interventions within HDUHB. Undertake Mental Health Assessments/Risk Assessment with young people and adults referred to the service in line with agreed protocol.

Implement evidence-based practice, monitor and evaluate clinical interventions/practice, and undertake specialist Mental Health Assessments for all individuals referred to the service who may be At Risk Mental State (ARMS) and/or Early Intervention Psychosis (EIP).

Participate in the provision of specialist service/interventions across the identified age range utilizing a recovery focused model in Primary and Secondary Care settings.

To be continually monitoring and evaluating risk to/from young people/adults on own caseload.

Ensure clinical supervision is undertaken by a trained supervisor in the delivery of all psychological therapies.

Deliver EIP services in line with SCAMHS policies and procedures in a flexible approach that meets individual and service needs.
