Hywel Dda University Health Board invites applications for a Full Time 37.5 hours per week Band 7 Team Leader within the District Nursing Team – Cardigan/Newcastle Emlyn, in Ceredigion. The successful candidate will lead a team of community staff nurses and health care support workers, with support from two Band 6 staff, provide clinical leadership, and work as part of the multidisciplinary team to meet the needs of the caseload and local population.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of community staff nurses and health care support workers, with support from two Band 6 staff.
- Provide clinical leadership and contribute to MDT care to meet patient needs and local population requirements.
- Act as an experienced clinician and manager of staff.
- Travel between locations in a timely manner as required for the post.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Significant previous community nursing and staff management experience.
- Specialist practitioner qualification.
- Ability to travel between locations as required.
- Welsh language ability is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are encouraged to apply.
