We are seeking to appoint a team of site security officers to work alongside our well established portering team. These are newly created fixed term posts and the primary responsibility will be to fulfil fire warden and site security duties, alongside the portering duties required to maintain a high standard of service throughout the hospital. The posts are 35 hours per week, nights only covering 4 nights in 7 on a rota basis.

Main duties of the job

  • Conduct regular fire checks throughout the shift, addressing or escalating any issues as they arise.
  • Perform site security checks, ensuring the building has been properly secured, and remains so overnight.
  • Routine portering duties.

A driving licence to drive Health Board Vehicles is essential for this role. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
