Overview
A Sister/Charge Nurse post has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, experienced Critical Care Nurse within the Critical Care Unit in Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth. The post is open to staff currently employed by Hywel Dda University Health Board.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a high level of patient care at all times throughout the unit.
- Actively contribute to, and supervise, patient care; manage planned and unplanned admissions; ensure correct staffing levels.
- Lead the Unit in the absence of the Senior Sister and coach and develop junior team members.
- Demonstrate a calm approach to problem solving and communicate clearly with the team.
- Promote an environment of continuous improvement and learning to maintain high standards of care; maintain a patient-centred approach and keep the department organized and professional.
