We are seeking an enthusiastic confident registered professional who currently works within the acute services.
You must have an up to date U.K. Resuscitation Council approved Advanced Life Support/European Paediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate or willing to undertake an ALS/EPALS Course to achieve provider/instructor status.
Main duties of the job
We are a dynamic and enthusiastic small team who are passionate in improving patient outcomes.
The team are highly experienced clinical professionals whose aim is to empower front-line clinical teams to effectively recognise, manage, and escalate an acutely unwell patient.
Provision of level 3 Immediate Life Support Training and ward-based education to a broad field of clinical staff across the Health Board.
Monitor standards of resuscitation practice and equipment.
Support the clinical areas with their quality improvement plans in response to the Acute Deterioration Programme.
This post is based predominantly at Bronglais General Hospital in Aberystwyth or Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen, but may require travel to other hospitals within Hywel Dda Health Board.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications & Knowledge
- Level 1 Registered Nurse (RGN Adult)
- Post graduate diploma or equivalent specialist knowledge / post registration experience in a relevant specialist field
- Valid possession of RC(UK) ALS providers certificate
- BSc
- PGCE
- EPLS & ALS Instructor
Experience
- Clinical experience in acute care
- Evidence of previous contributions towards developing clinical practice
- Evidence of previous contributions towards training and education
- Experience of conducting audit and research
Language Skills
- Welsh Speaker (Level 1)
