The Radiology Department at Bronglais Hospital are delighted to offer an opportunity for an experienced and motivated practitioner to join the team as a DEXA Reporting Specialist Clinical Technologist/Radiographer.
This advanced practitioner role combines independent DEXA reporting, clinical DEXA scanning, leadership, and service development. The successful candidate will work autonomously within a specialist team, producing high-quality DEXA reports, including vertebral fracture assessments and fracture risk evaluations, while supporting the delivery and development of the DEXA service across the Health Board.
Applicants should possess extensive experience in DEXA scanning and image analysis, a relevant healthcare qualification with professional registration (HCPC, RCT or NMC), and a recognised DXA reporting qualification. Strong leadership, communication and mentoring skills are essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in osteoporosis diagnosis and management, contribute to service improvement, and support the education and development of future practitioners.
If you are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and advancing specialist DEXA practice, we would love to hear from you.
