We are searching for a Nursing Support Worker to join our nurse‑led team serving the Ceredigion community and surrounding areas. The service operates 24/7 with shifts from 07:30 to 20:00 during the day and 19:30 to 08:30 at night, including bank holidays. Hours of work may vary with demand.

Responsibilities

  • Support staff with health support worker duties and administrative tasks.
  • Obtain patient observations and perform ECGs, venepuncture, cannulation, and other clinical duties under supervision.
  • Assist with initial assessments and provide treatments as directed by trained staff.
  • Cover the reception desk, book patients onto IT systems, and manage general administrative duties for the team.
  • Work alongside the community outreach team to provide care and support for patients in their homes during day and night.
  • Adapt to changes in local and national healthcare provision, maintaining a forward‑thinking and competent approach.
