Overview

To assist the TUK HSE team to ensure the TUK sites adhere to local policies and procedures and UK regulations. The role will provide administrative support to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Improve H&S and Environmental administrative systems (incident logs, energy use, waste control, etc.)
  • Improve and standardise data input and data storage for Health & Safety and Environmental systems
  • Administrate regular meetings of HSE / HSE support teams (H&S representatives, first aiders, fire marshals, etc.) / other departments and scheduling of HSE tasks for HSE support teams
  • Improve training coordination – ensure staff are up to date with safety critical training and scheduling of new training sessions
  • Carry out health & safety and environmental monitoring activities
  • Update HSE information on noticeboards / HSE portal – Monthly incident statistics, first responder, site maps, support roles
  • Assist with fire safety, including evacuations and inspections
  • Assist with preparing health & safety and environmental documents
  • Assist with waste management processes and procedures
  • Assist with HSE reporting to regulators (EA, HSE)
  • Any other reasonable request that comes in day‑to‑day
