About the Role: We're looking for a Senior Manager, Event Tech to lead the strategy, delivery, and optimization of our event technology ecosystem, covering event registration, meetings programmes, and onsite engagement. You'll work closely with our SaaS tech vendors, and internal development, engineering and marketing teams, to translate strategy into scalable, high‐quality products. This role combines strategic product ownership with day‐to‐day execution, technical leadership and management of a team, all whilst shaping how our event tech stack evolves to support world‐class events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end‐to‐end event tech roadmap across registration, meetings, and onsite systems, ensuring that technology aligns with event objectives and customer needs.
  • Oversee configuration, testing, and deployment of event tech solutions, whilst driving improvements through feedback, analytics and retros.
  • Lead relationships with event tech vendors and agencies, ensuring accountability, value, and innovation.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and SaaS tech vendors to deliver high‐impact features on time and to quality standards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Digital, and Operations to ensure product alignment and value delivery.
  • Drive outcome‐focused approach by measuring impact and business value to the deliveries.
  • Contribute to wider product strategy discussions, bringing insights from event tech systems to inform decision‐making.
  • Manage a small cross‐functional team, embedding agile ways of working.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong background in event technology management or digital product ownership within events, exhibitions, or large‐scale conferences.
  • Hands‐on experience with registration platforms, CRM/MarTech integrations, meetings/app platforms, and onsite solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of data flows, APIs, and platform interoperability.
  • Proven ability to translate complex operational requirements into technical and product roadmaps.
  • Strong stakeholder communication, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non‐technical teams.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, able to bridge between tech, operations and commercial teams.
  • Familiar with agile delivery, sprint planning, and iterative improvement cycles.
  • Availability for business travel and event support in different regions throughout the year.
