A bit about the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tech Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technology projects across Hyve. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while aligning with strategic business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large scale IT projects and programmes
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
- Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and third-party vendors
- Lead and deliver CRM-related projects, including implementation, upgrades, and integration/migrations of new business units
- Manage projects involving Microsoft Dynamics 365, Hubspot and general familiarity with MarTech ecosystems
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues
- Ensure adherence to project governance, standards, and contribute to strengthening these standards
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports
- Manage budgets (up to ~£5m), forecasts, and financial tracking
- Ensure successful project handover and conduct post-implementation reviews
Here’s what we’re looking for from you:
- Proven experience as a Senior Tech/IT Project Manager or similar role
- Track record in delivering complex, business critical IT projects
- Strong CRM domain knowledge, especially Microsoft Dynamics, Hubspot and their respective data structures
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, agile delivery practices and business change management
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Experience managing budgets and resources effectively
- Leadership experience – leading / managing people, as well as senior stakeholder management
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Monday.com)
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and contemporary development practices/tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications) preferred
- Experience in enterprise-level environments and/or the events industry
- Experience with business integration in a private equity backed business
- Prior experience as a solution architect or CRM platform manager / SME
- Change management experience
- Knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, TOGAF)
