We’re Hyve - organiser of the world’s fastest-growing and most forward-thinking B2B events. As the chosen event partner to many of the world’s leading companies, our platforms play a critical role in their strategies - helping them enter new markets, accelerate growth and connect with the people who matter most. Our portfolio features some of the world’s leading events in sectors like ecommerce, healthcare, edtech, and fintech. We’re growing fast with an entrepreneurial culture that empowers big ideas and quick action, plus an ambitious acquisition strategy bringing exciting new events into our mix.
Alongside our market-leading events, we’re building tech and data-driven products that supercharge connections – from one-to-one meeting programs and curated table talks to year-round engagement platforms. Whatever your role, you’ll join a global team redefining how industries connect, collaborate, and grow – working with some of the most talented people in the business.
A bit about you: First things first: whatever your background, beliefs or ambitions, there’s a culture of belonging at Hyve — and everyone is welcome. The question isn’t where you’ve come from, but where you want to go. You’ll thrive here if you’re curious, collaborative and not afraid to challenge convention. We look for people who take pride in what they do, who are excited by change and always moving forward. The kind of people who stay open, keep learning, and look for better ways to make an impact. Our shared behaviours guide how we work: we dare to do things differently, own our work, embrace collaboration, stay true to ourselves and others, and remember that optimism wins. If that sounds like you, you’ll fit right in.
A bit about the role: Please note, this is a Fixed Term Maternity cover for 12 months, starting from February. As the Head of Campaigns, you will define and lead the overall marketing automation strategy to deliver scalable, personalized, and data-driven campaigns. Your role will be critical in aligning marketing automation initiatives with the organisation’s growth objectives, driving lead generation, improving customer experience, and enabling revenue growth. You will oversee the marketing automation function, including team management, process development, technology optimisation, and strategic alignment with sales, marketing, and data teams.
Here’s what we’re looking for from you:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the long-term marketing automation campaign strategy to support organisational growth working with the HubSpot Admin lead. Align automation initiatives with business goals, ensuring seamless integration into the broader marketing and sales strategy. Advocate for marketing automation best practices across the organisation, ensuring stakeholder buy-in at all levels. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing campaigns team, including managers and specialists. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration within the team. Set performance goals and manage team progress to deliver against KPIs and objectives.
- Technology and Process Optimization: Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) working with the Divisional Marketing Director and HubSpot Lead. Identify and evaluate new technologies to enhance campaign efficiency, personalisation, and scalability and use AI tools to help optimise campaign performance and operational efficiencies. Define and standardise processes for lead scoring, segmentation, and customer journeys across teams.
- Campaign Innovation and Oversight: Lead the design and execution of innovative, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive engagement and conversions. Develop advanced segmentation strategies to deliver highly personalised experiences. Establish frameworks for A/B testing, dynamic content, and behavioural triggers to optimise campaign performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior marketing, sales, and data leaders to ensure alignment on goals, processes, and technologies. Work with analytics teams to develop robust reporting frameworks and gain actionable insights from campaign performance. Collaborate with content and creative teams to ensure campaigns resonate with target audiences.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Define and monitor KPIs for marketing automation effectiveness, such as ROI, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and lead-to-revenue metrics. Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations. Use data insights to refine strategies and inform executive-level decision-making.
Here’s what we’re looking for from you: 8+ years of experience in marketing automation, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of leading successful, large-scale marketing automation initiatives. Deep expertise with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make strategic recommendations. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing multi-level teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation. Experience in scaling automation for global B2B/B2C organisations. Familiarity with AI-driven tools for marketing automation and personalisation. Certifications in marketing automation or CRM platforms. Knowledge of SQL, data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI), and marketing analytics.
