A bit about the role: We are seeking a talented and experienced Creative Copywriter to join our in-house creative team. Reporting directly to the Head of Creative, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand identity of our events across multiple channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce innovative, high-quality copy and key messaging that captivates audiences, elevates our brands, and drives business success.

You’ll play a key role in crafting compelling, on-brand copy for 2-3 distinct brands across various channels, ensuring each brand’s tone, style, and messaging resonate with its target audience. You’ll need to adopt and use AI to help meet busy deadlines.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with designers, marketers, and strategists to bring campaigns to life.

As part of your job, you’ll be:

  • Content Creation: Agree key content needs for the year with Campaign and Marketing Managers. Focus on the BIG rocks and key content pillars/blocks. Use AI tools and techniques to repurpose copy ensuring we keep a level of quality as well as driving ongoing efficiencies in the copywriting process. Work with and build branded AI chatbots to support the creation of copy and drive speed. Using the content pillars/blocks/evergreen content, and working with Campaign Managers and Marketing Managers to write clear, engaging, and brand-specific copy for digital and print channels, including social media posts, website content, paid advertisements (PPC, social ads), brochures and event materials.
  • Brand Tone & Consistency: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each brand’s voice and ensure consistency across all communications. Adapt writing style and tone for different audiences and platforms while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Campaign Support: Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop copy for year-round campaigns, product launches, and promotional initiatives. Support the creation of campaign messaging, taglines, and storytelling concepts that drive engagement. Brief Campaign Managers and Marketing Managers on tone of voice, key content to support content marketing pillars to they can also help support the ongoing content production. Work closely with designers to align copy with visual assets and ensure cohesive messaging. Partner with marketing teams to optimise content for performance and SEO.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines. Review creative materials to ensure copy and visuals align seamlessly.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple deadlines and projects across 2-3 brands, prioritising effectively to deliver high-quality work on time. Respond to feedback constructively, making revisions as needed. Work with freelance resources to support key projects working with the Creative Project Manager and Marketing Managers to meet copy deadlines.
  • Research and Trends: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to ensure copy is relevant and impactful. Stay updated on best practices for digital, print, and multimedia copywriting.

And here’s what we’re looking for from you:

  • Experience: 2–4 years of copywriting experience, preferably in an agency or in-house creative team.
  • Education: Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in content management systems (CMS) and collaborative tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Figma desirable). Familiarity with SEO and digital advertising best practices is a plus. Use of AI tools and techniques to enable fast yet relevant copy production across channels. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to adapt tone and style across multiple brands and formats. Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects. Creative thinker with excellent storytelling abilities.
