A bit about the roleHyve is seeking a proactive and collaborative Finance Integration Manager to support the successful onboarding and integration of newly acquired businesses into the Hyve group. This role will sit at the centre of the integration process, working closely with the Head of Integration, divisional finance directors, and wider cross‐functional teams to ensure the smooth transition of financial operations, reporting, systems and controls. The role will also be responsible for managing and administering the group\’s insurance programmes, including the transition of newly acquired businesses onto the Hyve policies.
The ideal candidate will bring hands‐on experience in finance integration, comfort engaging with sell‐side founders and CFOs, and the willingness to roll up their sleeves to manage both strategic and administrative aspects of integration. While a formal accountancy qualification is preferable, it is not essential if the candidate has relevant practical experience.
Integration Planning & Execution
Support the Head of Integration in shaping and delivering the finance workstream of integration plans across multiple acquisitions and occasionally also across disposals.
Lead day-to-day financial integration activities, ensuring alignment with Hyve policies, timelines, and strategic objectives.
Assess the target company\’s financial processes, systems, and reporting frameworks to identify gaps and required changes.
Coordinate the transition of financial data, systems, controls, and processes into Hyve\’s operating model.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with divisional finance directors and finance teams to provide visibility over integration progress, risks, and dependencies.
Engage confidently with sell‐side founders, CFOs, and finance stakeholders to gather information, clarify issues, and foster collaborative relationships.
Serve as a point of contact for financial queries arising during the integration period.
Proactively feed into the pre‐acquisition business case to ensure integration requirements are reflected in acquisition case financials.
Process & Controls Alignment
Assist in aligning the acquired business\’ financial reporting cycles, budgeting processes, and KPIs to Hyve standards.
Produce Hyve‐compliant opening balance sheet accounting for acquired businesses and embed Hyve\’s accounting policies on a go-forward basis to ensure consistency of financial reporting across the Hyve group.
Support the implementation of Hyve\’s financial controls and compliance practices within the acquired entity.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and support the adoption of best‐practice financial operations.
Data, Systems & Reporting
Oversee the migration and validation of financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Support integration of accounting systems (ERP, invoicing, expense tools, etc.) as appropriate to the acquisition.
Help prepare updated financial reporting packs and harmonise trading reporting with Hyve best practices to incorporate the newly acquired business into Hyve\’s regular reporting cycles (e.g., month‐end close, weekly trading reporting, etc).
Administration & Transition Support
Manage administrative aspects of onboarding, including documentation collation and preparation, for example across treasury activity (e.g., bank account access, bank mandates, opening new accounts, etc).
Coordinate training sessions with finance teams who join with new acquisitions to ensure consistency of reporting, controls and processes.
Maintain integration trackers, action logs, and risk registers to ensure structured and transparent progress management.
Provide hands‐on support where required to ensure key milestones are met.
Assume responsibility for the group\’s insurance programme, including event insurance (e.g., event cancellation, exhibitor cover, ticket protection) and business insurance (e.g., general liability, travel cover, D&O, property).
Liaise with the external insurance brokers, managing and coordinating the annual renewal process, harmonising policies across offices where possible and dealing with insurance claims.
Skills & Expertise
Minimum 2+ years of experience in finance, ideally overseeing or having exposure to commercial finance, financial operations (AP/AR), FP&A, tax, treasury and insurance processes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage founders, CFOs, and senior leaders confidently and diplomatically.
A proactive, collaborative approach with strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Comfortable undertaking both strategic review and administrative tasks as part of the integration process.
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent – preferred but not essential with relevant experience.
Experience working in a multi‐entity or international group environment.
Familiarity with ERP implementations or finance system transitions.
Understanding of acquisition accounting principles (e.g., opening balance sheets, purchase price adjustments).
