A bit about the role
We're looking for a commercially minded Senior Data Analyst to become the owner of audience intelligence across some of Hyve's flagship retail events.
This is far more than a reporting role.
You'll transform complex attendee, buyer, registration and CRM data into meaningful business intelligence that influences strategic decisions across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Attendee Experience.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll uncover trends, identify opportunities, challenge assumptions and deliver insights that help shape commercial strategy, improve audience engagement and support continued event growth.
You'll own the reporting environment for audience intelligence, ensuring our teams have accurate, actionable data that drives smarter decisions.
From executive dashboards and commercial reporting to audience segmentation and meetings program optimization, your work will directly influence how we engage our customers and grow our events.
If you're passionate about solving business problems through data, enjoy partnering with stakeholders across an organization, and love turning complex datasets into compelling stories that drive action, we'd love to hear from you.
This position reports directly to the SVP of Attendee Experience and works closely with the Retailer & Brands, Operations, Sales and Marketing teams.
As part of the role, you will
- Own audience reporting and business intelligence across Hyve's retail event portfolio, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and accessibility.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations that provide meaningful insights for executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Analyze attendee, buyer, registration and engagement data to identify trends, opportunities and risks that support commercial decision-making.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations that improve audience acquisition, engagement and event performance.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Attendee Experience teams to understand business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Design audience segmentation strategies and targeted reporting to support marketing campaigns, buyer recruitment and customer engagement initiatives.
- Support the delivery and optimization of our hosted meetings program by analyzing audience data and recommending improvements.
- Build and automate reporting processes wherever possible, improving efficiency and reducing manual reporting.
- Ensure the quality, governance and consistency of audience data across CRM platforms and reporting tools.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear reports, dashboards and executive-ready presentations.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve reporting, automation and business intelligence capabilities across the organization.
And here's what we're looking for from you
- Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Significant experience in a Senior Data Analyst, Business Intelligence or Analytics role.
- Demonstrated ability to transform complex datasets into meaningful business insights and strategic recommendations.
- Experience building executive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau or similar business intelligence platforms.

- Strong experience with CRM platforms such as Hub Spot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or similar.
- Experience creating automated reports, dashboards and scalable reporting solutions.
- Experience working with data visualization and reporting tools.
- SQL experience would be highly advantageous.
- Experience with modern data warehouse technologies (such as Snowflake) would be beneficial.
- Commercial Mindset
- Ability to think beyond reporting by identifying commercial opportunities, testing business assumptions and providing strategic recommendations.
- Comfortable working across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Customer teams to solve business problems using data.
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge existing processes and recommend better ways of working.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex analytical findings to stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- Comfortable building executive-ready reports and presentations that clearly communicate insights and recommended actions.

- Why this role is different
You'll have the opportunity to work with one of the industry's richest audience datasets, helping shape the future of some of the world's largest retail events.
