Whatever your role, you’ll join a global team redefining how industries connect, collaborate, and grow – working with some of the most talented people in the business.

A bit about you

First things first: whatever your background, beliefs or ambitions, there’s a culture of belonging at Hyve — and everyone is welcome. The question isn’t where you’ve come from, but where you want to go. You’ll thrive here if you’re curious, collaborative and not afraid to challenge convention. We look for people who take pride in what they do, who are excited by change and always moving forward. The kind of people who stay open, keep learning, and look for better ways to make an impact. Our shared behaviours guide how we work: we dare to do things differently, own our work, embrace collaboration, stay true to ourselves and others, and remember that optimism wins. If that sounds like you, you’ll fit right in.

The bit about the role

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving marketing performance across the full 121 portfolio, spanning our industry-leading events, The Assay, and Investor Engagement. You will work closely with a global team to deliver campaigns that directly impact revenue and audience growth, connecting high-value mining companies with active investors. With a proven track record of delivering multi-channel campaigns to budget, you bring precision, pace, and a sharp focus on results. You take ownership, move quickly, and are driven by creating standout customer journeys that support real deal-making outcomes.

121 Mining Investment comprises three product offerings:

  • Events: 121 Mining Investment events connect portfolio managers and analysts from institutional funds, private equity groups and family offices with mining company management teams, both online and in person.
  • The Assay: The Assay is a print and online platform packed with insights from leading fund managers and analysts plus mining company news, profiles and project updates.
  • Investor Engagement: 121 Mining Investment has built an unparalleled global investor network through our 121 events. Our Investor Engagement programme provides news distribution, roadshows, marketing and analytics services to connect mining companies with this sophisticated investor network all year round.

Now we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join the team. The Marketing Manager will plan and deliver high-impact campaigns across the 121 Mining Investment portfolio, including our global events, The Assay, and Investor Engagement. This role is focused on driving qualified investor and mining company audiences, supporting revenue growth, and ensuring every campaign leads to real deal-making outcomes. You will work across teams to execute multi-channel campaigns at pace, using data to guide decisions and improve performance at every stage of the funnel. From first touch through to registration, you will take ownership of delivering measurable results while maintaining the high standards expected of an upscale, industry-leading brand.

This is a fast-moving role for someone who thrives under pressure, brings energy to the team, and takes pride in getting the detail right. You are confident working with data and Excel, able to turn performance into clear actions, and understand how to generate qualified leads that convert into valuable registrations. You also bring a strong creative eye, with the ability to interpret and bring our brand to life across event touchpoints. Working closely with our central creative teams, you help shape and deliver compelling campaigns and collateral that enhances audience engagement. You are proactive, curious, and always looking for ways to improve how we connect with our audience. Above all, you are customer-focused, commercially driven, and motivated by delivering campaigns that connect high-quality mining companies with active investors.

As part of your job, you’ll will:

  • Plan, manage and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns across the 121 Mining Investment portfolio, driving high-value audiences to our global events, The Assay and Investor Engagement.
  • Own audience acquisition performance, supporting revenue targets by attracting qualified mining companies and active investors through targeted digital campaigns.
  • Develop and manage a structured 12-week email campaign plan for each event, ensuring consistent engagement, clear messaging, and strong conversion into registrations.
  • Create marketing assets and content that clearly communicate value and drive attendance from mining companies and investors.
  • Track, analyse and report on campaign performance, using data to optimise results and provide clear insight against KPIs.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver campaigns to a high standard and aligned with business objectives.

And here’s what we’re looking for from you:

  • You want to deliver results and are not afraid to challenge how things are done. If there is a better way to reach the right audience, you will find it and act on it.
  • You bring energy to the team. You collaborate well, communicate clearly, and play an active role across a global business.
  • You stay focused under pressure. You prioritise effectively, adapt quickly, and keep campaigns moving without compromising on detail, and accuracy is always delivered.
  • You look for ways to improve. You test, learn, and optimise campaigns using data to drive stronger performance.
  • You understand digital marketing across the funnel and know how to generate qualified leads that convert into real business outcomes.
  • You are confident working with data, able to analyse performance and turn insight into clear actions that support revenue growth.
  • You build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners and agencies to deliver high-quality campaigns.
  • You manage budgets with accountability, focusing spend on what delivers the strongest return.
  • You are comfortable in a fast-paced, commercial environment where priorities can shift, and you respond with speed and clarity.
  • You take ownership of the brand, ensuring every campaign reflects the quality and credibility of an industry-leading events brand.
  • You want to be visible, involved, and part of a team that delivers real outcomes for the mining investment community.
