Description

WHO WE ARE
ASU+GSV Summit is the largest, most influential gathering in global education innovation and outcomes, convening the leaders shaping the future of learning, technology workforce and economic opportunity.

Now part of Hyve Group, the global events company behind Bett and other leading international platforms, we are entering an exciting new chapter of growth.

We’re expanding our global reach and building an unparalleled community of more than 100,000+ leaders annually across the U.

S., U.

K., Brazil, and Southeast Asia.

Our flagship ASU+GSV Summit gathers 7,000+ leaders from 66+ countries in San Diego each year to shape the future of education, skills, and economic opportunity.

With massive momentum behind Ai, workforce transformation and unlocking human potential, we’re building the next major growth chapter of ASU+GSV Summit, and we’re looking for exceptional people to help us build it.

THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re hiring a Growth Marketing Specialist to join our high-performing marketing team and help accelerate the next chapter of ASU+GSV’s growth.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of marketing, sales, data and AI, with a clear mission: turn market intelligence into qualified sales opportunities and qualified opportunities into revenue.

You will help build and own the growth engine behind our sponsorship and ticket business, identifying untapped markets, reaching the right decision-makers, creating high-performing acquisition programs and giving our sales team the intelligence to win.

With a primary focus on sponsorship lead generation and a secondary focus on paid registration growth, you will connect audience data, campaign performance, sales pipeline and commercial outcomes.

This is not a role where you simply launch campaigns and report on clicks.

You’ll uncover new opportunities, turn data into commercial action and continually improve how we find, qualify and convert prospects.

You’ll also put AI, automation and modern data tools to work, to move faster and find opportunities others miss.

The right person is

  • A growth driver.

You are motivated by commercial outcomes, not just marketing activity.

You want to know which audiences convert, which campaigns create pipeline and what it takes to turn interest into revenue.

  • A builder.

You see an underdeveloped market, an incomplete database or an inefficient process and immediately start thinking about how to make it better.

You enjoy creating scalable systems, not just maintaining existing ones.

  • Data first.

You connect the dots between campaign engagement, lead quality, sales activity, pipeline and revenue.

You’re curious about what the numbers reveal and relentless about finding the story behind the data.

  • An acquisition strategist.

You know how to identify the right companies, audiences and decision-makers, build targeted prospect lists and develop campaigns that generate meaningful commercial opportunities.

  • Commercially minded.

You understand the difference between generating leads and generating leads that sales teams can convert into business.

You care about qualification, conversion rates, pipeline and revenue attribution.

  • AI-forward. You actively explore how AI, automation and modern data tools can accelerate research, surface buying signals, improve targeting and eliminate manual work.
  • A cross-functional operator.

You thrive at the intersection of marketing, sales and technology.

You bring people together, turn insights into action and make things happen across teams.

  • Organized and accountable. Takes initiative, tests ideas and drives results across teams.

If you're energized by building, experimenting and turning insight into commercial results, this is your opportunity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate qualified pipeline. Own and build targeted lead-generation, nurture and account-based campaigns for sponsorship prospects.
  • Map priority audiences, identify decision makers, build prospect lists and uncover opportunities across Education; Workforce; Financial Services and Investment; AI and Enterprise Technology; Professional Services; Startups and Government.
  • Develop marketing qualified lead (MQL) scoring and qualification frameworks with Sales, ensuring the right prospects reach the right people at the right time.
  • Connect marketing to revenue.

Analyze and reconcile lead, campaign, pipeline and revenue data across marketing and CRM systems, making performance clearer and identifying where opportunities are being missed.

  • Turn insights into action. Lead monthly lead-generation reviews and translate findings into better campaigns, audience segments, workflows and sales recommendations.
  • Put AI to work. Use AI, intent data and enrichment tools to improve targeting, accelerate prospect research and uncover hidden opportunities.
  • Improve conversion. Optimize the funnel from engagement to qualified lead, meetings, registration and revenue.
  • Build scalable systems. Strengthen automation, campaign tracking and data quality across Hub Spot, Clay, Cvent and advertising platforms.
  • Work across the business. Partner with the leadership team, Summit teams and Hyve best practice teams to turn shared priorities into measurable results.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Growth marketing experience.

Experience in B2B growth marketing, demand generation or marketing operations, with a track record of building programs that generate qualified leads and measurable pipeline and revenue.

  • Acquisition expertise.

Hands-on experience developing targeted campaigns, building audiences, segmenting prospects and creating nurture programs that move leads toward conversion.

  • Commercial and analytical thinking.

The ability to measure campaign performance, connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue, and turn data into actionable recommendations.

  • Marketing technology skills.

Strong hands-on experience with Hub Spot or a comparable marketing automation platform, including workflows, segmentation, lead scoring, campaign tracking and reporting.

  • Data and optimization.

Experience with prospect research, data enrichment, conversion tracking and attribution, with the curiosity to investigate gaps and find opportunities others might miss.

  • AI and automation fluency. Actively applying AI and automation tools to improve research, targeting, campaign execution and operational efficiency.
  • Communication and collaboration. The ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations and work effectively across marketing, sales and technology teams.
  • Ownership and initiative. A bias toward action, a willingness to experiment, strong attention to detail and a drive to deliver measurable results.
  • Intellectual curiosity. A genuine interest in the companies, people and trends shaping the future of learning, work and technology.

Bonus points if you

  • Experience in education technology, events, workforce development, enterprise technology or B2B sponsorships.
  • Built lead-scoring, attribution or marketing automation programs.
  • Used Clay, Linked In Sales Navigator, intent data or AI-powered prospecting tools.
  • Developed new audiences, mapped total addressable markets or launched account-based marketing programs.

WHY THIS ROLE, NOW?

  • Build something exceptional. Own and shape the growth engine behind one of the most influential platforms in global education and workforce innovation.
  • Take the lead.

This is an opportunity to do more than execute campaigns.

You’ll identify new markets, build scalable systems, experiment with AI and directly influence pipeline and revenue.

  • Accelerate your career.

Develop highly valuable expertise across growth marketing, sales intelligence, data and AI, working closely with senior leaders and expanding your impact as the business grows.

  • Think globally. Be part of Hyve Group’s international platform, with the reach, relationships and ambition to unlock new markets and opportunities.
  • Make your work matter. Help grow a global community shaping the future of learning, work and human potential.
