A bit about the role
The Data & Insights Executive will own Bett's day-to-day data reporting, audience intelligence and commercial insights.
Working across Sales, Marketing, Content and Operations, you will transform data into meaningful recommendations that improve commercial performance, grow audiences and support strategic decision making.
This is not a data administration role.
We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, analytical and proactive, someone who enjoys identifying patterns, asking questions and helping the business make smarter decisions.
As part of your job, you’ll be
- Reporting & Dashboards
- Own weekly commercial dashboards across Bett UK and Bett Asia.
- Produce executive reporting on sales, audience growth and event performance.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and Excel reporting tools.
- Track KPIs and provide year-on-year analysis.
- Support live reporting during event delivery.
- Commercial Intelligence
- Identify commercial opportunities through analysis of exhibitor and sponsor data.
- Highlight white space within the exhibitor portfolio.
- Recommend target sectors, companies and markets for future growth.
- Support strategic account planning through data-driven insights.
- Analyse product performance across stands, sponsorship, Tech User Labs and new launches.
- Audience Development
- Build new attendee and exhibitor databases using tools such as Clay, Apollo, Vendelux and AI.
- Support audience growth strategies across priority sectors including Higher Education, MATs, International and Government.
- Identify new audience acquisition opportunities.
- Monitor audience trends and registration performance.
- Data Quality & Governance
- Maintain high standards of CRM data quality and integrity.
- Manage imports, validation and data cleansing activities.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal governance processes.
- Improve reporting accuracy through automation and process improvements.
- Insights & Recommendations
- Produce monthly insight reports highlighting opportunities, risks and trends. * Support Sales, Marketing and Content with actionable recommendations. * Identify emerging market trends and competitor activity. * Present findings clearly to internal stakeholders.
