A bit about the role
We are seeking an experienced CRM Solution Architect to define and deliver end-to-end CRM and MarTech solutions across Hyve. This is a strategically important role, requiring a blend of strong architecture expertise as well as hands-on coding and platform configuration capability. You will design scalable, secure and integrated solutions spanning customer engagement platforms, marketing technology, integration services and enterprise data platforms, ensuring business needs are translated into robust technical designs that can be delivered and operated effectively.
As part of your job, you’ll:
- Architect end-to-end CRM and MarTech platforms across Dynamics 365, HubSpot and Salesforce, aligning solution design to business strategy, operating model and data objectives.
- Produce solution architectures, integration patterns, data models and technical designs covering applications, workflows, APIs, eventing and downstream data platform integration.
- Remain hands-on with coding, scripting and platform configuration, including customisation, automation, plugins, connectors, workflows and low-code/no-code capabilities where appropriate.
- Design and oversee integrations between CRM/MarTech platforms and enterprise systems including data platforms, customer data sources, finance, event, web and marketing tools.
- Define solution standards for security, performance, scalability, data quality, resilience and supportability across the CRM estate.
- Work closely with engineering teams, product owners, data teams, analysts and third-party partners to ensure designs are implementable and delivered to a high standard.
- Lead technical discovery, architecture reviews, platform assessments and design decisions for new initiatives, migrations, acquisitions and optimisation programmes.
- Provide technical leadership and governance across solution delivery, including design assurance, documentation, estimation, risk identification and remediation planning.
- Translate business requirements into logical and physical solution designs, balancing speed of delivery with long-term maintainability and architectural integrity.
- Coach teams on platform best practice and contribute to continuous improvement in CRM architecture, engineering standards and delivery approaches.
Here’s what we’re looking for from you:
- Proven experience in a CRM Solution Architect, CRM Technical Architect or senior platform engineering role.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in at least two of Microsoft Dynamics 365, HubSpot and Salesforce, including core data models, configuration, customisation and integration approaches.
- Hands-on software engineering, with practical experience of coding, scripting and solution development across CRM and integration platforms in a cloud native environment (ideally Azure).
- Experience of API-led architecture, middleware, event-driven integration, ETL/ELT patterns and integration with enterprise data platforms, ideally Azure Fabric & Snowflake.
- Experience designing solutions across CRM, MarTech and data ecosystems, including identity, consent, segmentation, campaign execution and customer data flows.
- Excellent understanding of solution architecture methods, non-functional requirements, security and data governance principles.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders while also working closely with developers and delivery teams on detailed technical implementation.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to assess trade-offs and make pragmatic architecture choices.
- Experience working in agile product and project delivery environments with a clear understanding of software delivery lifecycle practices.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate architecture decisions, options and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant platform or architecture certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, HubSpot, Azure or integration technologies are highly desirable.
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification is beneficial but not essential.
Desirable
- Experience architecting customer, marketing or revenue platforms in enterprise-scale environments.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, platform consolidations or multi-brand operating models.
- Business change management, especially guiding sales and marketing teams to standardise processes and supporting teams with training.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture, governance and service management frameworks.
Key Competencies
