This role reports to: Head of Client Engagement Bett. Bett is a dynamic and engaged online and live community that learns, trades and networks all year round. It is the world’s largest education technology event series and is the global meeting place for the education technology industry. With over 35 years of heritage, Bett provides a platform for innovation, dialogue, networking and global trade – bringing together exhibitors and visitors from around the world, physically and online, to buy, sell and make connections. The Bett global series is comprised of four physical events, in four continents, and an extensive suite of online activities that span the year and the globe. Globally, we welcome over 60,000 educators to our events and over 1200 technology providers.
As part of your job, you’ll be:
- Delivering an outstanding client experience for Bett’s major accounts and strategic partners - ensuring that client contracts deliver increasing ROI and improved satisfaction every year, and indirectly driving revenue retention and account growth.
- Building credible, trusting relationships with a multitude of client stakeholders at various levels and in various functions both internally and externally.
- Developing and executing project plans for sponsorship fulfilment and client projects. Ensuring projects are tracked effectively, efficiently, and within budget, with deadlines clearly communicated.
- Leading on various special projects linked with bespoke sponsorship packages e.g. roundtables, leadership lunches and 365 activations.
- Supporting Head of Client Engagement on management of sponsorship inventory, sponsorship sales materials and sponsorship tracking.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure sponsorship delivery is fulfilled to a high standard, and that your clients are supported effectively throughout the event cycle.
- Gaining a strong understanding of products, content, operations and marketing processes to support effective client engagement.
- Supporting and overseeing onboarding and delivery for breadth and government accounts by other team members, ensuring efficient and timely delivery to a high standard.
- Line managing up to 2 x Client Engagement Executives.

- Established experience within project management and client-facing roles.
- Line management experience.
- An aptitude for commercial decision-making and problem-solving.
- High EQ and strong relationship building skills that help build trust and rapport, and able to deal with senior stakeholders both client side and internally.
- Motivated, resilient and strong work ethic.
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the team, clients and the business.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changeable environment.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm whilst managing numerous priorities. Excellent time management skills.
