As a member of the Electric Workshop, the Electrician HV will be involved in the development and preparation of the hypercars and the necessary electrical parts and equipment. Reporting to the Electric Workshop Leader, he/she will work closely with the Electronic Engineers and other departments. During tests and races, he/she will support the team from the electrical side as well as in the workshop in Signes.
Main tasks:
- Inspection and service of electric components
- Recording of component inspection and component lifing
- Preparation of sensors, actuators and wiring looms, testing with specific test bench and installation of electrical components in the car
- Support test and rally/race activities as required
- Responsible for electrical car parts and equipment during events
- Working on high voltage car systems, build and commission hybrid units
- Documentation of electric parts, drawings for sensors, actuators and looms (layout and pinouts)
- Calibration of sensors and actuators
- Electrical installation of the service park and pit garage
Qualifications:
- Vocational training as an electrician or comparable qualification in the field of electronics
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in the Motorsport sector
- Familiarity with systems such as MIL-Spec, Deutsch, Raychem, Souriau
- Fluent English both written and spoken is mandatory
- Knowledge of Motorsport electrical standards
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Completing tasks with minimal guidance and working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Showing team spirit and creating a motivating environment
- High voltage Level 3 and IT knowledge
- Problem solving and diagnostic skills
