Machining of motorsport components using both CNC and conventional processes (turning, milling, drilling, and surface grinding).
Tool management involves preparation, selection, and optimization of tools to ensure maximum machining performance. Quality & Traceability includes part marking with laser engraving machines for identification and ensuring all tolerances are met. Maintenance consists of performing regular servicing of machines to ensure optimal performance, precision, and minimal downtime.
Safety & Deadlines require safely operating equipment to recommended specifications while meeting tight deadlines to support race car preparation. Collaboration entails openly communicating with manufacturing and engineering teams to develop functional, high-quality components under motorsport pressure.
Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training as a machinist, CNC operator, industrial mechanic, or a comparable technical qualification.
- Proven experience in CNC machining, ideally within the motorsport, automotive, or high-end industrial sectors.
- Advanced Programming Skills: Strong hands-on experience with CNC Turning and programming; experience with OPEN MIND hyperMILL is a distinct advantage.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications is a must.
- Material Knowledge: Solid understanding of various materials (aluminum, steel, plastics, inox) and cutting tools.
- Precision Mindset: High attention to detail with a guarantee of high-quality preparation to the latest technical standards.
- Communication: Proficiency in English is mandatory.
