Join Hyundai Motorsport’s engineering team and contribute to the structural integrity of our high-performance race cars. We’re looking for a skilled structural analyst with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in motorsport to help us push the limits of design and performance.

Main tasks

  • Perform structural analysis of race car components, including metallic and composite parts, using FEA and hand calculations.
  • Optimize designs for performance, weight, and reliability under race conditions.
  • Contribute to design reviews with a focus on motorsport-specific structural challenges.
  • Define and oversee proof tests for components used in competitive environments.
  • Analyze test results and improve model correlation based on track data.
  • Stay updated on motorsport-relevant materials and manufacturing technologies.
  • Document and report calculation results in line with motorsport development cycles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in motorsport structural analysis (Formula, Rally, Endurance, etc.).
  • Proven expertise in metallic and composite materials used in motorsport.
  • Strong proficiency in Hyperworks, ANSYS, or similar FEA tools.
  • Experience with trackside data correlation or component testing is a plus.
  • High analytical skills and innovative mindset.
  • Fluent in MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word).
  • Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced motorsport environment.
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit.
  • Flexible with working hours and travel, as required by motorsport schedules.
