We are currently looking for a creative Development & Calibration Engineer to join our Powertrain - Engine department. As part of our team, you will be involved with powertrain system thermo-fluids modelling and performance analysis to help us produce a world-class product that will give us a competitive advantage.
Main tasks:
- Take responsibility for powertrain calibration at the test bench and – if required – at the race track.
- Be challenged to provide innovative solutions to real engineering issues, which directly benefit our product.
- Act as a part of a team, while being wholly responsible for concept evaluation and analysis.
- Engage in a high level of interaction with the development of our end products.
- Enjoy the autonomy to create and validate novel engineering solutions.
- Take the opportunity to be innovative, as you create robust and versatile models.
- Work with highly skilled engineers whereby you will experience problems and create solutions, which are expected in order to deliver a world-class product.

Qualification:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering subject and a higher degree involving ICE (Internal Combustion Engines).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-performance or motorsport powertrains.
- Experience with hybrid powertrains is highly beneficial.
- Display good knowledge and experience with state-of-the-art TC-DI engine development with a main focus on powertrain test bench calibration and development.
- Proficiency with programming/scripting languages.
- Formula SAE experience is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge in the field of ICE/powertrain testing and metrology.
- A good understanding of internal combustion engine and powertrain fundamentals.
- Capability with the application of test bench automation, combustion analysis, and CAN bus architecture.
- Competence in data post-processing tools (Wintax, ATLAS, etc.).
- Proficient in English.
- Proficient in German (or willingness to learn it) is a plus.
