This role is based in Leatherhead, Surrey. As our new Retail Marketing Specialist, you will support the Retail Marketing Manager in delivering brand and tactical campaigns across the Hyundai retail network. Working closely with agency partners and key stakeholders, you’ll manage marketing assets, brief creative projects, and monitor campaign effectiveness. You’ll ensure our retailers have the tools and insights they need to drive sales and maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and deliver retail and fleet marketing campaigns, including new model launches, tactical, and quarterly campaigns.
- Collaborate with agencies and the Retail Marketing Manager to develop and execute annual marketing plans for the UK retailer network.
- Work with the Hyundai Retailer Marketing Services (HRMS) team to deliver key projects and support local campaign execution across the network.
- Build strong relationships with retailer marketing contacts and internal stakeholders to ensure aligned, effective campaign delivery.
- Manage marketing assets, including digital brochures, POS materials, and the Retail Marketing Portal, ensuring brand compliance and relevance.
- Oversee the Hyundai Events Service (HES) programme and support local retailers with event resources and guidance.
- Track and analyse competitor and cross-industry marketing activity, providing insights to enhance Hyundai’s retail marketing strategies.
- Administer the retail marketing budget, including raising POs, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
About You:
- Proficient in marketing project management, including planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination using tools such as Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Experienced in working with external agencies and suppliers to develop and deliver marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and digital collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and campaigns with strict deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with retail, dealer, or B2B marketing practices; previous experience in automotive or agency environments preferred.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills with attention to detail; capable of using basic analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel pivot tables).
- Experience coordinating in-person and virtual events, including logistics, materials, and supplier liaison (desirable but not essential).
- Competent in content development and creative asset management for campaigns, including brochures, POS, and digital collateral.
