Responsibilities
- General Strategic: Under the guidance of the Head of Remarketing, assist in developing HCUK’s vehicle remarketing strategy, focusing on ensuring maximum sale prices are achieved and effective processes and controls are implemented.
- Operational Planning: Develop quarterly activity plans based on documented strategic objectives, outlining timings and high-level deliverables for remarketing the current fleet.
- Budgetary Control: Manage the day-to-day delivery of agreed activity in line with prescribed budgets through ongoing review and monitoring of remarketing activities and costs.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with selected remarketing outsourced suppliers and establish oversight of their processes and service levels.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimise HCUK’s business offering and performance.
- Risk Management: Work with HCUK’s Risk Department to optimise business performance and protect HCUK's reputational risk.
- Insight & Continuous Improvement: Drive continual improvement using appropriate insights to differentiate HCUK’s overall offering.
- Compliance: Adhere to HCUK policies and processes regarding personal conduct and ensure services are provided in a compliant manner.
- Governance & Regulation: Ensure all activity aligns with HCUK’s governance framework and regulatory business principles.
- Carry out any other tasks as may reasonably be requested.

- Able to manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
- Able to produce presentations, including business case proposals.
- Familiar with legal, regulatory, and compliance issues.
- Good understanding of the general market sector and excellent interpersonal skills.
Location / Travel
- The position requires domestic travel, including occasional overnight travel.
- The role will be home-based with occasional visits to the Hyundai Capital UK head office in Reigate, Surrey.
