With a reputation for high-quality, reliable, feature-rich handsets and systems, Hytera can be found all over the world, from Shenzhen metro to the Etihad stadium, via North Sea oil rigs, railway networks, conference centres and construction sites.
We are now recruiting for a Sales Engineer to join the team to support the UK team. The role will focus on providing technical assistance to key partners in the support of Hytera’s product portfolio including:
- Pre-sales demonstrations
- Preparing quotations and technical responses to bids and tenders
- Post-sales technical support
- Technical training to our partners
This is a very practical, hands-on role; strong technical skills with a commercial focus are essential to this role. The ideal candidate will have:
- Professional level standard English language
- Willingness to travel in the UK and in Europe generally
- Background in the design, deployment, and installation of PMR products (Analogue, DMR, LTE or TETRA) for either public safety or commercial users
- Experience in a technical support role in a commercial/B2B environment through working within a hi-tech product development organisation with sales partners
- Specialist diploma and/or degree in electronic engineering discipline or equivalent level of experience
- Strong knowledge of RF analogue and digital Tier III systems and terminals
